Rotaract Introduction
| Are you 20 something in the DC metropolitan area? Are you 20 something looking for something to do? Interested to meet other 20 something year old's dedicated to community and international service? Then Rotaract is perfect for you. Rotaract is a Rotary-sponsored service club for young men and women ages 18 to 30. Rotaract Clubs are either community-based or university-based and they are sponsored by a local Rotary club. As one of Rotary's most significant and fastest-growing youth service programs, with more than 7,000 clubs in about 163 countries and geographical areas, Rotaract has been growing worldwide. The Rotaract Club of Metro Washington DC meets every other Saturday at 1pm, at the Wilson Building, located at 1350 Pennsylvania Avenue, NW, Washington, DC. We meet just 2 blocks away from The White House, and the building is close to the Federal Triangle and Metro Center metro stations. What is Rotaract? Rotaract is a Rotary-sponsored service based club for people ages 18 to 30. Rotaract clubs are either community or university based and are sponsored by local Rotary clubs within their districts. There are thousands of Rotaract clubs throughout the world in over 150 countries. Although each club has its own character, Rotaract clubs are dedicated to four areas: community service, international service, club service, and professional development. |
